Spot the Rough (formerly DamnThePotholes) uses your phone's accelerometer to automatically detect potholes and rough road surfaces as you go about your day. Deviations in the X, Y, and Z axes — along with acceleration values — are analyzed in real-time to flag hazards at precise GPS coordinates.

Detected hazards are reported to a shared map so the whole community benefits. Manual reporting is also coming soon for hazards you spot on foot.
